I've finally found the most amazing set for my bed, love this...but at $140 for the quilt alone and another $50 each for the shams, what's up with this?! Pretty sure Bed, Bath & Beyond are on my we-don't-like-you-anymore list for good now. it's enough to make one manic, 80 bucks for that is fair, still spendy, but at least it makes sense --a machine made it! Seems I'll just have to make it myself...see, I've always wanted to make a striped quilt, and now, apparently, I have to. huzzah! don'tcha just adore the little bowie things?

so I guess the trick to this is not be spontaneous with the pictures, but upload them first, in reverse order. bleh... Alright, I uploaded these in my [re]construction album on facebook, but since jenny doesn't have one, I must boast here too. :) idea stolen from an old elle decor magazine....

this is my version, eventually i may get some of those cute indian circle mirrors because I totally know how to sew them on! sequins just won't do, all in time I suppose. :) still haven't hemmed these, i kinda like 'em raw edges. dunno we'll see.

...to say I've been busy with many unrelated things. painting a dresser drawer and this lovely mirror. :) scheduling days to film (and trying to mastermind a good topic) for the weekly youtube. reorganizing my apartment for 1) sanity 2) hopefully moving soon 3) a 20 year old blue & gold macaw named Skipper...many think its actually a girl, plus that name is simply ridiculous, so we'll leave it up to Dave to rename her proper. ha!

also completely unrelated, my sister recently has had her 3rd failed pregnancy in 8 months, please keep her health in your prayers, thanks.
